We have a dream for The Rock Church that we believe is God’s dream for us. A place where people that are broken and wounded, whether that is spiritually, emotionally, relationally, financially or physically, where they can find healing, restoration, hope and peace. A place where no one has to pretend or role-play to be accepted and loved, but where unconditional love is the order of the day!
A place where lost people can find their way home to the Father. The Father that loves them so much that He sent Jesus to die in their place. We dream of a place where Moms and Dads can learn to love each other, and create an environment of security for their children.
A place where little boys and little girls learn about the Kingdom of God and His goodness so that as they get older their passion for God never wanes. We dream of a place where teenagers thrive and are excited about the things of God, where they learn how to impact their world for Christ!
We dream of a place where leaders forget themselves into greatness and get over themselves and give themselves and raise up others and train others to live out the purpose of God for their lives. A place where the goal is more important than the role! A place where we are truly a family, a fortress, a refuge! A place where we are not concerned about image, only growing into His Image.
A place where we have a common purpose about proclaiming His love for a dying and broken world! A place where the widow and orphan are taken care of, where the poor are fed and the naked are clothed, where the prisoners are visited and the sick are healed!
We dream of a place where life change happens each day, where all of us recognize our need for the Savior and we bring the broken and dysfunctional pieces of our lives before the cross and ask God to cleanse us and heal us from the inside out. We dream of a place where there is a passion to worship and honor God as the Creator of the universe, where we learn to discover the gifts He gave us and use those gifts for the benefit of God’s kingdom and others.
A place of hope, a place of healing, a place of grace, a place of refreshing, a place of change for people who are changing and desire to bring about change! That is our dream for The Rock Church!
